BALOO Training
 

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is training for Cub Scout leaders who will be giving leadership to a pack camping experience.  Leaders need not be experienced campers.  This training is intended to provide BSA guidelines for safety, basic equipment and activities that can be included to make a Pack campout safe and fun.  Cub Scout camping is a joint adult/youth activity and should be included as one of the summer-time pack activities.  Cub Scout packs submitting Tour Permits for camping activities MUST have a leader who is BALOO  trained.   BALOO training is offered by District Training Teams at least once each year.  Click here on BALOO for more details.
