Every new Cub Scout will receive a free wrist band when
he joins a local Cub Pack. The wrist band serves as a
great
incentive for him to join and will proudly say: "I'm a Cub Scout"!
Each new Cub Scout
family will receive a "Welcome to Cub Scouts" newsletter. The will welcome
a family to Cub Scouting and introduce them to our quality, values based
youth development program available. The newsletter will be full of
information about upcoming events, training, advancement, along with many
other topics. Also included is an invitation flyer to join other Cub
families at our Cub Scout Fun Day at Camp Shenandoah on Saturday, September
15, 2007. This is an afternoon of fun, "Cub Scout style", with games, nature
walks, fishing, archery, BB guns and craft making.
